I’ll be posting pictures of my cards as I create them; links to my etsy.com shop will be provided as soon as we’re up and running. Ideas and suggestions are always welcome, and I’m happy to accomodate special requests. Enjoy!
Valentine’s Day
Yeah, it’s early, but I like to be ahead of the game.
I’ve made cards for friends this year as well as the more romantic kind. The “looooove” cards are geard toward men, generally- I’ll probably do a few for women, too, but if I get them online to sell, I’m thinkin’ women will be doing most of the buying.
ROMANTIC (FOR MEN):
< That little frame (ribbon on paper) was a pain in the butt to make, but it finishes the card nicely.
That’s the only one I’ve put a message inside; I think the others could be used as birthday or anniversary cards, so I don’t want to make them Valentine’s specific. I can customize them later.

I’ve been waiting 3 years to use that ribbon! >

<It took a lot of fiddling with the placement of the ribbon before I was happy with this one, but I think it looks quite nice.

This is great paper>

< not my favourite, but it’s not bad… I think it’s the colours that don’t really do it for me, but they went with the “hugs and kisses” sticker.
FRIENDSHIP:

< I didn’t have a footprint stamp, but the ones I drew look pretty good, I think.

I usually try to break up stickers from a set, but the flowers and border were just too perfect together. The quote sticker, papers, and yarn were from my own, separate stash, though. >

<This is a really simple layout, but I think more embellishment would’ve been too much with the glittery paper. The quote is quadruple-matted, though!

So girlie… I love this quote, too. >
